PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
- Supervision and management of QA HC (evaluations, feedback, pay roll, permits, vacations, absences, delays, etc.)
- Implementation/modification of QA sampling plans according to product performance.
- Customer complaints containments and RCA follow up for implementation and effectiveness.
- VOC/VOP containment and RCA follow up for implementation and effectiveness.
- Key process indicators, such as PPM, LRR and defect Pareto, reporting and follow up for improvement.
- Reporting, containment an RCA follow up for implementation of supplier quality events impacting production line.
- Monthly quality presentation reporting key metrics indicators trend and actions for continuous improvement
Engineer on Electronic, Mechatronic, Industrial or similar. Experience as quality engineer, personnel management, core tools (PFMEA, PCP and SPC), problem solution and root cause analysis tools (8D, 3x5 Why’s, Ishikawa, etc.). Leadership, self-directed, initiative, team worker. Able to communicate in English.
