A Synopsys Executive Account Manager is responsible for the sales of the Design and Verification portfolios of Synopsys Core EDA tools, as well as Industry leading edge products in Emulation, Prototyping, Manufacturing & IP. The EAM will drive and win large, multi-million-dollar, complex technical sales campaigns for Synopsys at Tier1 & Tier 2 Large Global Semiconductor Customers as well as a few key growth accounts. A team player with a collaborative mindset as well as a strong understanding of semiconductor design flows and EDA tools is essential.

Key Requirements:
· Understand Semiconductor chip-design requirements to effectively identify and qualify key customer challenges and opportunities.
· Develop an account plan, manage product evaluations, qualify new opportunities, deliver internal and external sales presentations and proposals, and close new business.
· Execute Purchase Agreements using effective negotiation skills, managing all aspects of customer and SNPS requirements & terms while working closely with Global Sales teams, Legal, Finance, Marketing & Technical Teams to successfully close contracts.
·Drive and coordinate technical resources to support an understanding of the customer’s implementation, verification, IP, HW, & systems challenges and needs.
· Develop trust and strong relationships with key customer and internal decision makers and drive appropriate Executive Level relationships across the Synopsys organization to build trust and deepen customer partnerships.
· Navigate a complex Global Team environment acting as liaison to, and successfully acquiring support from, Applications Engineering, Product Marketing, R&D, Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive the successful execution of Customer Account Plans.
· Candidate should be skilled at objection handling, have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, be creative, self-motivated, assertive, and confident.

Preferred Experience:
  • Minimum education of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales, Business Development, and/or Technical Sales & Support experience.
  • Direct EDA experience working at or with a large, Global Semiconductor Company.
  • Consistent track record of success; exceeding sales quota and/or MBOs.
  • Smart, creative, collaborative, flexible, and enthusiastic person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled at leading effective meetings at all management levels of an organization (internal and external).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SalesForce or similar tools.
This position is based in Austin, TX and will require on-site work 3-4 days/week.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $146,000-$220,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
