Role Purpose:
Working with our MACOM European Semiconductor Center(ESC) in Limeil-Brévannes, you will promote and develop business for MACOM products and monitor sales and channels for their assigned territory. You must understand, or have the ability to learn, all the markets and customer applications requiring MACOM RF, Microwave and Networking ICs and components. You will execute the sales plan to ensure achievement of objectives for sales performance, customer and market penetration and growth in the territory. You will continue to grow MACOM’s presence in your territory through the capture of new business and professional representation of our value proposition to customers.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Growing annual sales in the territory
• Work with reps and distributors to grow MACOM sales with selected accounts which include working closely to assist, train, guide them towards achieving sales objectives
• Coordinate with other Sales Managers relative to major and strategic accounts to meet overall account and corporate objectives
• Sell directly in specific assigned accounts in the region
• An AOP goal will be assigned to meet and exceed with specific accounts targeted. These accounts may be called on directly by the applicant, by the rep or distributors
• Develop new markets and customers, also support product lines in new product definitions and technical requirements from customers to development of new products and technologies
• Publish and distribute customer contact and sales trip reports to management and product lines
• Update quarterly forecasts, develop, and maintain opportunities in Sales Force for assigned territory
• Participate in quarterly reviews with reps and distribution to ensure sales targets are met
• Support Sales operations as required on Channel strategies, contracts, annual pricing agreements and large opportunities and quote approvals
• Safely travel in assigned territory as allowed by local government and customer requirements.
Qualifications and requirements:
• Fluent in French and English
• B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• 3-5 years of technical RF and Microwave component / systems selling experience
• Sales experience in territory assigned; direct and distribution sales experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners
• Be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
• Possess the ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and directly, both verbally and in writing to a cross functional audience
• Be able to sell via phone, zoom meetings, and in person and close the opportunity and ask for the order.
