Join our Facilities Team as a Facilities Technician at our MACOM European Semiconductor Center(ESC) in Limeil-Brévannes.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain and operate the facilities infrastructure associated with MACOM's 27,000 m² site, which includes 1,700 m² of manufacturing and operations; 7 buildings including our corporate offices
• Maintain office, grounds and building systems and propose solutions to improve site facilities
• Monitor regulatory compliance (monitoring and implementation of schedules, support for control bodies, monitoring and compliance)
• Maintain relationships with the various external service providers (periodic checks, green spaces, fire safety, etc.)
• Monitor and manage requests for interventions (follow-up of tickets, technical alarms, needs, action plan, work monitoring and end-of-work validation)
• Clarify requests for intervention, assess their relevance and those of any proposed actions
• Be proactive, anticipating the needs of your stakeholders
• Determine maintenance plans, frequencies and their implementation
• Report material malfunctions and difficulties encountered
• Make and maintain the inventory of equipment (labelling, registration, updates) and consumables
• Follow and update technical files
• Use technical skills to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Perform minor maintenance work (carpentry, painting, doors, repairs, walls, office fixtures)
• Communicate interventions (signage, staff information, etc.), prevent dangerous situations, and alert and inform in the event of problems
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety rules, personal protective equipment requirements, standard operating procedures, quality system regulations and good manufacturing practices
Experience and Competencies:
• 5 years’ experience or equivalent in an industrial and commercial office environment
• Experience with the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Good analysis and problem solving ability
• Knowledge of troubleshooting industrial equipment, such as pumps, valves, motors and control instrumentation problems.
• Have received building maintenance training, air treatment (plumbing, heating, low/high currents, plumbing, HVAC)
• Have experience as a Multitechnical Technician on an industrial site
• Ability to communicate well and work in a team
Qualification:
• 2-year college degree, or 2-year technical school certificate highly desirable.
