Role Purpose:
The Quality Control & Back-end Inspector will perform manual or semi-automatic sampling, visual inspections and packaging of MMIC circuits and finished wafers within the required time and in accordance with specifications
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection, first article inspection and final inspection of electronic and mechanical components with little to no assistance
•Schedule source inspections as required
•Generate internal and external reports
•Generate and maintain data for the control of documentation, effectively report information, and accurately respond to questions from team members, internal suppliers, and customers
•Communicate non-conformances and work with Quality and Manufacturing to drive corrective actions. Ensure all incoming, in-process and final materials meet specifications
•Perform routine SAP transactions to move, disposition, and route material
Key Competencies Required:
•Quick-thinking, self-motivated individual with knowledge on all aspects of inspection and testing
•Experience with Mil-STD-883 2010
•Knowledge and experience in performing mechanical and electronic inspection
•Ability to work from technical drawings, sketches and specifications
•Safe handling of ESD sensitive materials
•Working knowledge of SAP, Agile, Excel, MSWord and Outlook
•Good communication skills are important, as well as the ability to explain findings clearly
•Good report writing skills
•Fluent in French
Previous Relevant Work Experience:
•Minimum 1 year Quality Control inspection experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Higher education (BAC +2) or a professional license in the scientific or technical field or have experience in the field of industrial quality control.
•Basic understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
•Intermediate level in English
