Why this position matters
This team is developing highly flexible wireless SoCs in a fast-paced environment. The IoT RF Validation team has a vital role in ensuring product performance, scalability, and time to market. We are looking for a software professional whose responsibilities will include testing, reviewing, improving and developing existing measurement algorithms. Implement new test procedures, contribute to the development of the framework.
Responsibilities
Create or modify tests as needed within the test software framework.
Review, update and maintain existing test code and test architectures
Carry out unit tests and regression testing
Architecting or modifying the architecture of test systems and associated frameworks
Qualifications
BSc, MSc in Electrical Engineering
Experience using Python or other high-level modeling language/tool
Experience developing and using automated test systems regarding hardware testing and / or software QA
Experience in revision control and code management systems (e.g. Gitlab / Github / BitBucket (Stash))
Experience with continuous integration technique
Experience in creating test strategies and test plans
Considered as a plus:
Basic knowledge of analog signal fundamentals, basic circuit components, and specifications
Basic DSP knowledge (up/down sampling, FIR filtering)
Interest in RF signal chains including LNAs, mixers, PAs, A/D and D/A
Basic knowledge of digital modulation formats (MSK/FSK, OQPSK, OOK/ASK, etc)
Experience intaking measurements with standard RF lab instruments (signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, scope, DMM, supply)
Knowledge of common wireless communications standards and protocols such as Bluetooth low-energy, 802.15.4, 802.11 WiFi
