ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the requirements analysis, gap analysis of the integration capabilities, and act as project manager for deliverable prioritizations to the customer's existing or planned systems.
  • Experience in reading and developing algorithm descriptions, mathematical expressions and derivations, matrix manipulations, outlier analysis, and system level analysis.
  • Responsibility includes design and implementation of hardware system algorithms developed in MATLAB and .NET .
  • Collaborate with electrical, optical, and mechanical engineering counterparts for systems level solutions.
  • Responsible to manage the prioritization and own SW Development Life Cycle.
  • Responsible for the quality assurance and maintenance of the created software applications.
  • Responsible for integrating production systems into higher-level IT systems/MES and automation technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of front-end development is desirable.  Several years of experience in ​​machine communication, e.g. through SecsGem, OPC-UA
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a must.
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, System engineering or similar. Master's degree in a related field preferred. 10+ years of experience in software development and team management.
  • 6+ years of Experience with customer requirements analysis and as a software architect or technical project manager, very good understanding of software architectures and object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Full stack application development experience and building large-scale software applications - Experience in C#, Python, .NET , MATLAB.
  • Know-how in the field of Hardware system integration and integration of production systems, the ability to delegate development tasks in a team and advise on implementation.
 
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $134,600 and $176,100.  The pay range may differ in other locations.  FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.  Benefits offered for this role include: medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.
