As an Embedded Solution Engineer, you will support the North Central European ESE team for functional safety related topics covering all related products, focusing on the automotive market.

This position will expose you to state of the art embeddedapplications, covering a wide variety of automotive and industrial applications like actuators, sensors, electric chargers and many more.
This position will allowyou to contribute on many high-volume applications in Germany and Europe, completing Microchip’s system approach togetherwith other FAE’s fromdifferent function groups to create entire system solutions for our customers.
More details on the tasks & responsibilities in this position:
- Build up profound knowledge on Microchip’s functional safety related products / applications and collaterals.
- Assess functional safety requirements to propose the best suitable solution for our customers.
- Support customer evaluations, provide trainings and hands on.
- Support our customers in implementing typical functionalities like core and peripheral diagnostics.
- Promote Microchip’s solutions on Exhibitions, Road shows, seminars/webinars …
- Interact with Microchip’s various Business Units, provide market feedback to help developing new concepts & solutions in terms of functional safety.
Requirements/Qualifications:
BSc / BEng or Master degree in Electronics.
Experience in functional safety related applications and/or microcontroller applications would be beneficial.
Understanding of functional safety concepts, use cases and failure modes.
Willingness to learn.
Works effectively in a team with account managers and other application engineers
Self-Starting Learner – proactively keeps up to date with new technologies and products, creating innovative solutions for our customers
Fluent usage of German and English language preferred.
