Skyworks Secures $500 Million for 5G Expansion, Signals Hiring Surge

Skyworks Solutions announced a $500 million fundraising round, led by private equity firms, to accelerate its 5G and IoT chip production. Following Reza Kasnavi’s promotion to EVP and Chief Operations and Technology Officer on March 15, the company plans to hire 800 new employees by year-end to staff expanded facilities in California and Asia. Kasnavi called it “a pivotal step for Skyworks’ growth.”
